What can I say? I’m a bit nutty about clothing made for fruit.
And to be honest, though a lot of these items are goofy and/or unnecessary, I have to admit that I find the majority to be utterly darling.
It is so cold here I probably ought to make some little sweaters for our apples!

LOL, Comet cozy! I can imagine that it gets awful brisk under the cabinets of an igloo.

On the one hand, my inner Wilhelmina Slater recoils in horror; on the other, I have to admire the single minded dedication behind knitting (crocheting?) these things. And the apple cozy is pretty much tres cool. But, where's the pit bull cozy :o)?

I must get me a teabag tote, but an apple cozy is going too far! Doesnt it make it difficult to eat? Abit woolly! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI know! I literally needed a teabag tote yesterday! I had to carry a lonely little teabag with me to my brother's house in order to have a spot o' tea. The indecency of it all! I had to carry it in my HAND. It was terrible.

ReplyDeleteMy Aunt was an avid cozy maker. When I was a teenager, she made me a hot pink notebook cozy edged in turquoise. It came with several matching bookmarks. After that, her gifts to me were opened with not a small amount of trepidation.
I don't believe that she ever got around to doing Comet couture, but I do recall our toilet paper rolls and nearly all of our small appliances being quite well dressed...
