My preggers sister-in-law goes to a yoga class on Monday nights, appropriately and cutely named "Mamaste." Last night she noticed they also offer a doggie yoga class. Apparently the class is only about 5 minutes long, though, cuz dogs only know 2 poses:
Downward Facing Dog and Upward Facing Dog.
Downward Facing Dog and Upward Facing Dog.

*rimshot*
I'll be here all week.
LOL!! My colleague and I had quite an uncontrollable chuckle thinking about pet chiropractics once...
ReplyDeleteHey - I've tagged you over at my blog; come check it out: LLOL or ignore it if you wish. :)
Doggie yoga class?
ReplyDeleteLOL. Can you invision the Wiener Princess in a yoga class, or Duece? Carmen does both poses everytime she does her segment 1 and 2 stretches.
ReplyDeleteRunner: My sis used to work for a chiro who sometimes adjusted dogs. Apparently it can be really therapeutic!
ReplyDeleteAnita: Thanks for coming by!
O/O: I KNOW!! Mom said the exact same thing: "Segment one, segment two." LOL! I think Deucie could use a chiro session for hims little back (see Funnyrunner's comment above.)
I don't mind the idea of the classes, but have you seen those Doggie leotards? They're just...unsettling.
ReplyDeleteDoes this dog teach? A girl I know was looking for a better class.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, exactly, but this cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteDog swimming classes are short also, because they can only, well, you know . . .
Take care,
Chris

I guess people have a "soft spot" for animals doing "people" activities. I have a soft spot too, but only as a result of an unfortunate accident. But I still remember 1973 vividly.
ReplyDeleteYoga is a pagan ritual.
ReplyDeleteShawn: Yeah but they're so excited. And they just can't hide it.
ReplyDeleteEric: Lulz!
Chris: L. M. A. O. Nicely done.
Dave: I still have that soft spot from when I was born.
Troll: What about doga, though?
